APOPA Leadership Meets with Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand to Advance FAPA 2026 Collaboration

The Asia Pacific Oncology Pharmacy Association achieved an important milestone on September 29, 2025, when our President and Vice President met with Dr. Suwit Theerakunchorn, President of the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand. This productive consultation marked the beginning of a strategic partnership that will strengthen our capacity to deliver the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations conference in 2026.

The meeting centered on developing academic collaboration frameworks that will draw upon the combined expertise and resources of both organizations. This partnership reflects our commitment to creating meaningful connections with leading national pharmacy organizations and demonstrates the value of collective effort in advancing pharmaceutical education and practice standards.

Building Thailand's International Reputation

This collaboration directly supports our sixth strategic goal of fostering partnerships with organizations dedicated to cancer treatment and pharmaceutical excellence. By working closely with the Pharmaceutical Association of Thailand, we are creating the foundation for a world-class international conference that will showcase Thailand's leadership in oncology pharmacy practice to colleagues throughout the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

The partnership with Thailand's premier pharmaceutical organization brings significant institutional credibility and support to our conference planning efforts. This alliance positions us to deliver an event that will meaningfully contribute to professional development while elevating regional standards in oncology pharmaceutical care.

Looking Ahead

In the coming months, both organizations will work together to formalize the collaborative framework and identify specific areas where our partnership can create the greatest value for FAPA 2026 attendees. This joint effort represents an important step toward our long-term vision of establishing Thailand as a recognized center for pharmaceutical innovation and excellence in oncology care.

We remain committed to creating networking opportunities that connect practitioners across the Asia-Pacific region and support the continuous advancement of our profession. Through partnerships like this one, we are building the collaborative relationships necessary to achieve our mission of improving patient outcomes through enhanced pharmaceutical care standards.
